This is the gentle giant known as George. George s This is the gentle giant known as George. George suffers from a disease of the cervical spine called ‘wobblers’ which was confirmed by MRI. He is having surgery with specialist surgeon Sam Long and our vet Gareth on Friday to hopefully help him walk easier. Given his size - 72kg!! and that the surgery he may result in George struggling to walk for a few weeks, his parents have come up with an excellent contraption to help him walk (without breaking their own backs!). We wish George all the best, and hope he has a speedy recovery. 🐾
